The style of pattern on this skull is altogether more tattoo-like in its form, with hints at the more traditional celtic style but with a more modern, fluid, "tribal"feel. I really wanted to apply shapes which would flow with the natural curves of the skull and complement the bone structure. The patterns themselves have a more rounded cross-section making the tactile experience unlike any of the other skulls in the range. It simultaneously suggests waves and flames, and has a slightly more scary look than the others in the range. |
